Who we are
This policy describes how BSS Law Firm Professional Corporation (“the firm”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and safeguards personal information through this website and in the course of providing legal services. It is intended to be consistent with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and with the confidentiality obligations of lawyers licensed by the Law Society of Ontario.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you call us, use our contact form or meet with us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, the type of legal matter and any message you send.

- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically record limited technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to operate and protect the site.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through our website contact form. Submitting the form does not create a lawyer-client relationship.

Disclosure and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email provider, Cloudflare (website security and spam prevention), Google (analytics and maps) and practice-management providers, only as needed for them to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law or by our professional regulator, or with your consent.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. That information may then be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
